This funky and stylish new restaurant once voted the no 1 Japanese restaurant in Glasgow, located in the heart of the West End provides some of the freshest and most flavoursome dishes that the Pacific region has to offer. Beyond great food, a sophisticated drinks list using the finest botanicals, and mega-friendly service; it offers some of the most affordable deals in town! Deals include, but are not limited to:
- Burger Bao: any bao, fries + soft drink for £5 or any burger, fries + soft drink for £7
- Weekend Brunch offer: fruit juice, any brunch dish, and tea or coffee for £11.50
- Bottomless brunch: Prosecco & Bloody Mary's, any brunch dish, tea/coffee for only £20!
Butchershop Glasgow - 1055 Sauchiehall Street

In many ways, Butchershop reminds of Hutcheson and Spanish Butcher with its elegant settings, superb Scottish food, and excellent service. What is more, as a holder of the crown for the best steak in Scotland they are serious about their beef and will go way and beyond to provide you with the ultimate dining experience. Among other great deals, a personal favourite is the Burger vs Steak Frites (burger or rump steak, skinny fries and a bottle of wine for two) every Tuesday for only £35!
Missoula Bar - 110-114 West George Street
Image: Design My Night
A modern and truly sophisticated bar offering all things joy: fabulously served food (who would've thought a burger could look so instagrammable?), tempting desserts, creative cocktails, premium spirits, and great music. And if that wasn't enough, every Monday it offers a Happy Monday deal (50% of all food!!!) on the already affordable prices. This is, in fact, an offer not to miss out on!
Mezcal Glasgow - 104 Hope Street
Image: Design My Night
Ever stumbled upon Mezcal, the newly opened authentic and groovy Mexican bar on the corner not far from Central Station? At the time of opening in October 2019, it was rightfully named "Hottest bar opening in Glasgow" and the cool decor with neon signs, lurid holy pictures, Day of the Dead figures, vintage logos and Frida Kahlo smoking a fag are all verifies the truth in the statement. Apart from bringing a cool vibe to Glasgow city centre, they also dish up some interesting food with amazing prices! Deals include:
- B+B Beer + Burrito (any burrito off the menu + corona) for £8
- Lunch Rapido (2-course lunch + soft drink or hot drink) for £9
- Weekend-deal (4 tacos, rice and beans, guacamole and tortillas, two coronas) for £20!
Ardnamurchan - 325 Hope Street
Image: 5PM
The last coverage is the contemporary Scottish bar and restaurant located opposite the Royal Theatre renowned for its elegant venue, attentive service and a large range of crafty beers, wholesome wines and premium drinks. Also, they dish up some incredibly rich and soul-satisfying tastes of Scotland sure to impress both native and international guests. If you want to try it out, I recommend book in for its Steak Monday (2x Sirloin Steaks, hand-cut chips, confit tomato, flat cap mushrooms, peppercorn sauce and a bottle of house wine for two) for only £30!
